Job Description

EFE Laboratories, Inc., a certified AS9100D contract manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to support our growing finance department. This role is transactional in nature and is vital to the daily operations and accuracy of our accounting function.
We serve a diverse customer base across industries such as automotive, avionics, medical systems, optical technology, and semiconductor manufacturing. Join our team in our newly renovated 35,000 sq. ft. facility and be part of a company that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting transactions comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including payment applications and reconciliations.
• Maintain timely and accurate billing and client payment records.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts and monthly bank statements.
• Enter daily labor tickets into ERP software; reconcile weekly reports to ensure accurate payroll support.
• Manage employee benefits administration in collaboration with HR; verify benefit coverage and vendor invoicing accuracy.
• Support cross-training efforts by entering AP invoices and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting desirable or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in manufacturing or cost accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Access); QuickBooks and ERP systems experience highly desirable.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
