Restaurant Assistant Manager

Casual Restaurant - Family Centric

$58k to $63k plus bonus

Description:  We are searching for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead our team in Glendale, AZ. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and food quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering a memorable dining experience.

Overview of Expectations:

• Manage daily operations to maintain high standards in guest service and food quality.
• Oversee inventory management, order supplies, and control costs.
• Analyze Profit and Loss statements and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to align with sales volume.
• Ensure compliance with food safety practices and health regulations.
• Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
• Protect company assets and adhere to control procedures.
• Lead and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and high morale.
• Implement local store marketing initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A High School Diploma is required; some college is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of restaurant General Manager experience in full-service casual dining.
• Must be ServSafe certified.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Strong understanding of P&L analysis, cash controls, and food cost calculations.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in computer-based programs and systems, including Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and current car insurance.
• Must pass a background check.
