Role/Responsibilitie s

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect-Databricks 12+ years of IT experience and at least 5 years in a Data Architect-Databricks consulting role where you were working with senior technology / business executives of client organizations. As a Data Architect specializing in Databricks, you will lead the strategic design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable Databricks solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring data quality, governance, and security, thereby driving the company's data architecture forward to support business objectives effectively

  1. Must have been working as Data Architect-Databricks for 10 to 12+yrs
  2. Experience within Financial services / Financial background as Individual Contributor
  3. Experience with Data & AI Architect
  4. Experience with Databricks
  5. Operation of Databricks
  6. Hands experience driving engagements
  7. Experience with Data Architecture
  8. Experience with Data pipelines & Solution Design
  9. Experience with Data Quality Governance
  10. Knowledge / Experience with how to use Python
  11. Experience with one of the following skills AWS, GCP, or Azure

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of Databricks solutions
  2. Architect scalable and efficient data pipelines using Databricks and other big data technologies
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  4. Optimize and manage Databricks clusters and resources
  5. Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all Databricks implementations
  6. Mentor and guide junior team members in Databricks best practices and advanced techniques
  7. Stay updated with the latest Databricks features and industry trends to continuously improve our data architecture
  8. Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost managent

Minimum Requirem e nts

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on Databricks
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions using Databricks
  • Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Additional Skills

  • Databricks certification(s)
  • Experience with machine learning and AI integration in Databricks.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $93,000k

Pay Range Maximum: $191,400k

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year
