Where You Come In
This opening presents an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst with a passion for innovation and for pushing the envelope in what advanced analytical software can do to overcome complex challenges. You will work directly with our customers and development teams, providing solutions by integrating our software with their desired data sources, systems, and workflows to support their investigation, analysis, and decision-making processes.
You will base your activities in the greater the Washington DC-area with the Semantic AI Operations Group, but will be called upon to work at various customer sites, including Ashburn, VA as needed in the capacity described below. The primary focus of your work effort will be the delivery of our software products and services as assigned by the Director of Customer Success and Field Operations.
We’re seeking individuals who want to learn and grow rapidly, and who are eager to roll up their sleeves and press our research & analysis software to its limits.
Responsibilities:
Support the technical on-site delivery, customization and maintenance of our software products and associated services.
Meet with the users, both on-site and virtually, to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their pain points.
Engage with users on their problems and workflows to identify relevant datasets and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data to our data visualization and analysis software.
Work with the customer to build tailored workflows.
Lead training sessions to ensure that our products are meeting user needs, and to ensure they are being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our customers’ operations.
Work with SAI product managers and engineers to apply your insights and user feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Background Investigation (BI)
Experience using analytical software tools, with an emphasis on data visualization and report development
Excellent analytic, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to learn multiple programming languages for data manipulation to serve client needs
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Team members who will dive into the details of the data.
Knowledge of the Intelligence Community, federal law enforcement, private sector and non-profit organizations environments
Ability to exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion
Ability to work both as part of a team as well as in a self-directed manner
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Training experience
Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apache Velocity, SQL) is a plus.
