If you envision working for an award-winning company with a mission you can believe in, a playful and energetic culture, a talented team of coworkers, and a bright future, look to Blue Marble!

We seek an E-commerce Demand Planner to join our team at Blue Marble! To own and optimize demand forecasting for our e-commerce sales channels. This role is critical in ensuring we have the right products in the right places at the right time—driving inventory accuracy, minimizing stockouts, and supporting sales growth across Amazon and other eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotional calendars, market trends, and new product launches
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align forecasts with merchandising and promotional plans
  • Track forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning models and assumptions
  • Inventory Management
  • Recommend replenishment strategies for eCommerce warehouses and 3PL partners
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to balance inventory between channels
  • Identify inventory risks (overstock, obsolescence, stockouts) and propose action plans
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze demand trends and KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, sell-through, etc.)
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reporting packages and communicate insights to leadership
  • Support decision-making through ad hoc analysis of channel, SKU, and promotional performance
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Act as the key liaison between Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Support new product launches with demand planning and inventory staging
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product availability and minimize lost sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of demand planning or inventory management experience, preferably in an eCommerce or CPG environment
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with ERP or planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, SAP IBP, etc.)
  • Experience working with Amazon (1P/3P)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with forecasting software or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, and 3PL management
  • Knowledge of promotional planning and how it impacts demand and inventory
