Job Description

A leading semiconductor manufacturing firm is looking to hire an EHS Manager to manage the growing EHS team while overseeing and developing company-wide environmental health and safety programs, policies, and systems. The manager will be managing the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, Hazardous Materials Business Plan, etc., and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, including Cal-OSHA.

The Role:

• Establish and maintain a strong safety culture through the development and continuous improvement of policies, programs, and training.
• Supervise and manage the operations of the department, including managing personnel.
• Oversee all environmental health and safety programs, including Cal-OHSA, IIPP, HMBP, ISO 14001, HCP, etc., to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure all environmental permit requirements and regulatory reporting are current and compliant.

The Candidate:

• 5+ years of leading, developing, implementing, and managing company-wide health and safety programs
• Strong knowledge of Cal-OSHA standards and requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster and influence the overall safety culture from leadership down to individual contributors
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
