Location: Walnut, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $32 - 36 per hourWe are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our client's team. It is a fun, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment where you'll get to design for a growing and popular cosmetic brand. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering a great opportunity to showcase your skills and become a permanent part of the team.Responsibilities:Design compelling, on-brand graphics for a variety of channels, including in-store displays, product packaging, and marketing materials.Develop product packaging in conjunction with the product development team, from new concepts to refreshes of existing items.Work on brand collateral like guidelines, brochures, mailers, and web banners.Concept annual beauty campaigns, including creating image boards and planning logistics like casting and studio location.Take ownership of projects from concept through to production.Create 2D renderings of package concepts and perform other assigned projects as needed.Qualifications:A portfolio that is bold, clean, and playful, with a younger target audience aesthetic. We're looking for a style similar to brands like L.A. Girl Cosmetics, CoverGirl, ColourPop Cosmetics, and Makeup Revolution.4-5 years of experience in a similar design role, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty industry.Proficiency in a MAC environment and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, GIF).Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency with video software and file formats.The ability to be flexible and pivot from project to project, designing for all channels-social, packaging, and merchandising.A team-oriented, collaborative mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
