Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Oracle CIS Installer Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and initial setup of Oracle Customer Information Systems (CIS). This role involves ensuring that all systems are installed correctly and efficiently, meeting the needs of our business operations and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

- Perform installation of Oracle CIS applications and components.

- Configure Oracle CIS systems to align with organizational requirements.

- Ensure proper setup of Oracle databases and application servers.

System Customization:

- Customize the CIS system to meet specific business needs.

- Implement and configure system modules and functionalities based on user requirements.

- Ensure integration with existing IT infrastructure.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide technical support during the installation and initial setup phases.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the installation process.

- Work with Oracle support to address any installation-related issues.

Documentation:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive installation guides and documentation.

- Record configuration settings, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration:

- Collaborate with project managers, system engineers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.

- Communicate with stakeholders to understand installation requirements and constraints.

- Provide updates on installation progress and any potential issues.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

- Train internal teams and end-users on system setup and basic operations.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure smooth handover post-installation.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate) are preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in installing and configuring Oracle CIS systems.

- Proven experience in Oracle database and application server management.

- Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Oracle CIS applications and tools.

- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle WebLogic, and related technologies.

- Familiarity with Oracle database administration and configuration.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the utility or telecommunications industry.

- Knowledge of system integration and data migration processes.
