We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support speech-language pathologists in providing services to students in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing therapy plans and promoting effective communication skills among students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP
- Document student progress and maintain records
- Support students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate communication
Requirements:
- Valid SLPA certification in Texas
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
- Commitment to student success and development
